Instore Author Talk – Poppies Hamilton: 16 June 2024

As an ADHD author and advocate, I’m very happy to be giving a talk at Poppies Bookstore in Hamilton on Sunday 16 June.

Update: What a fabulous group of humans! It was wonderful to be able to share my story, and those of other women interviewed for THE MISSING PIECE, with like-minded others on Sunday! It was great to see partners, mothers and older adults joining the ADHD conversation. There was so much to discuss, complete with nibbles! Thank you to Alison and Jane from Poppies Bookshop, Hamilton. If you missed the event but wanted a signed copy of the book, be sure to give them a call.

Original Post:

If you would like to some background into why I wrote THE MISSING PIECE: A Woman’s Guide to Understanding, Diagnosing and Living with ADHD, what I learnt along the way, and ask any questions, register for the online event here.

The talk is FREE and open to anyone who is interested in learning more about ADHD from a women’s perspective. You may suspect you have ADHD yourself, or waiting for an assessment, or you may have friends and family with ADHD and would like to have a greater insight into the disorder.
