After writing The Missing Piece: A Woman’s Guide to Understanding, Diagnosing & Living with ADHD, it became very clear that the conversation wasn’t finished. If anything, it had only just begun. The book opened the door, but the curiosity kept knocking. There were more questions and ongoing research and perspectives to be sought!
So I followed that thread. In 2024, ADHDifference Podcast was born. A space grounded in the idea that ADHD is not something broken that needs fixing, but something different that deserves understanding. A shift away from deficit-based thinking and into something far more human.
Season 1 (57 episodes)
The podcast began simply. Conversations between myself and my husband, Jel. They were real, unfiltered discussions about ADHD in everyday life. The challenges, yes, but also the patterns, the misunderstandings, the quiet moments that don’t often get airtime. We spoke as individuals, and as a couple navigating it together. It was raw, reflective, and often unexpectedly funny.
Season 2 (52 episodes)
I widened the lens. I had the privilege of sitting down with an extraordinary range of guests. Psychotherapists, coaches, therapists, researchers, and high-performing professionals. People with PhDs, leadership roles, entrepreneurial minds. But beyond credentials, what stood out was their willingness to bring both expertise and lived experience into the same conversation.
We explored neuroscience alongside real life. Emotional patterns alongside practical tools. Success alongside struggle. Again and again, the same truth surfaced. ADHD is not one story. It is many. And that has been the joy of it.
Season 3 (starting in April 2026)
As Season 2 wraps with a collection of highlights, I’m stepping into Season 3 with a slightly different rhythm: bite-sized strategies. The kind that have been lived, not just theorised. Tried, tested, adapted, and actually used in the messiness of everyday life. Alongside that, fresh ways of thinking. Small mindset shifts that can quietly change everything.
This space continues to evolve just as the conversation does.
