A busy month of connecting, sharing, and planning! January has been filled with meaningful conversations, inspiring stories, and exciting projects, including preparations for an upcoming webinar in February.
Whether through conversations with trailblazers or personal reflections, my mission remains the same: to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.
Upcoming Webinar: Understanding Adult ADHD
Looking ahead to February, I’m thrilled to announce a collaboration with ADHD coach Caroline Beresford. Together, we’re hosting a webinar called Understanding Adult ADHD, designed for those recently diagnosed or exploring their ADHD journey. This session will cover foundational insights into ADHD, practical tools for navigating daily challenges, and strategies to foster self-compassion and growth. Register today. We hope to see you there!
The Power of Neurodivergent Storytelling
One of the most rewarding aspects of this journey is meeting people who inspire, educate, and advocate for change. This month, I had the pleasure of interviewing JM Shaw, a talented fantasy fiction writer from Alberta, Canada, celebrated for her Callum Walker series. Diagnosed with ADHD and autism in adulthood, JM shared how her dual diagnosis helped her make sense of lifelong challenges and how these traits fuel her creativity. Together, we explored how neurodivergence shapes artistry and personal growth, transforming obstacles into tools for success.
Leading with Resilience and Purpose
Dr. Nathan Mellor, CEO of Strata Leadership and keynote speaker, joined me to share his incredible journey of self-discovery. Diagnosed with ADHD at 30, Nathan’s revelation reshaped his life, paving the way for self-acceptance and growth. Through our conversation, we uncovered how he harnessed hyperfocus, emotional intensity, and leadership skills to thrive, proving that individuals with ADHD possess immense potential to excel in dynamic and adaptive environments.
Empowering the Next Generation
This month also brought a conversation with Emily Cox, a licensed therapist from North Carolina. Emily’s work focuses on helping neurodivergent teens and young adults navigate the social and emotional challenges they face. Drawing from her personal experiences and professional expertise, Emily highlighted the power of embracing strengths and fostering confidence during critical life transitions. Her approach is a beacon of hope for young people striving to thrive as their authentic selves.
Here’s to continuing the conversation and building a more inclusive future together. Let’s keep learning, sharing, and growing—one story at a time. 🌟
